Our History
In 1983, our founder, Wayne, was battling lip cancer. During his recovery, he was going through multiple lip balms a week. He grew frustrated with the easy twist-off caps that would turn his pockets into a gooey mess. He also needed something with all-natural, high quality ingredients and SPF to protect his lips. So, Wayne went to work, and BALMSHOT was born.
Our Why
We are a small, family owned business. When our youngest son was born with Down Syndrome, we noticed there was a lack of employment opportunities for individuals with special needs. We want to change that. Every lip balm you buy helps create meaningful jobs for people with special needs.
Our Fight
When you purchase our Pure Pink and Pink Camo lip balms, you not only get a high-quality product, but you also contribute to a worthy cause. At BALMSHOT, we are committed to fighting breast cancer. We understand the importance of early detection and access to screenings for uninsured women. That's why we donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every Pure Pink and Pink Camo lip balm to the Mountain States Tumor Institute.
